Installation matters more than the lamp.
There's an old saying — sunlight is the best disinfectant. That isn't just a metaphor. The reason sunlight kills microbes is the ultraviolet band within it. Ultraviolet-C (UVC) is a specific slice of that same ultraviolet light, normally filtered out by the atmosphere before it reaches the ground.
Installed inside your air-conditioning (AC) unit, a correctly sized UVC lamp damages microbial DNA so microbes can't reproduce. It doesn't clean. It keeps clean — quietly, continuously, and entirely out of sight. The lamp is the easy part. The difference is in the engineer who sizes it, installs it, and signs the commissioning report.
§ I · The Engineering Gap

Most UVC in Dubai is sold by resellers who don't size the lamp, don't measure airflow, and don't come back. We do all three. A British-qualified engineer walks the plant, reads the AC drawings, sizes the lamp, installs it, and signs the commissioning report.

Before You Buy
Five questions to ask anyone selling you UVC.
If the answer to any of these is vague, that's your signal. A proper UVC install is a commissioned piece of engineering — not a lamp in a box.
1. Who is surveying the system before the lamp is chosen?
What you want to hear: a qualified engineer walks the plant, measures airflow and coil area, and specifies the lamp to match. What should worry you: "we've got a standard unit that fits everything."
2. What wattage and dose does this lamp deliver at the coil?
What you want to hear: a specific number, referenced to your airflow. What should worry you: "it's a strong one" or silence. Dose is physics — if they can't state it, they didn't calculate it.
3. Will the lamp be commissioned in writing, and by whom?
What you want to hear: a named engineer, a signed commissioning report, a photo log. What should worry you: "we'll send a technician to fit it." Fitting is not commissioning.
4. What is the lamp replacement schedule and who tracks it?
What you want to hear: a scheduled replacement, typically annual, held on the installer's maintenance calendar. What should worry you: "it lasts for years." UVC output decays long before the lamp fails visibly.
5. What does UVC actually do — in writing?
What you want to hear: reduces microbial load on surfaces and in air passing through the unit. What should worry you: any medical claim. UVC is not a cure, treatment, or preventative for any disease. That is the honest ceiling of the technology.

Swabs are sent to an independent Dubai laboratory for informational analysis only — they are not a clinical diagnostic. UVC sanitisation reduces airborne and surface pathogens in the airstream and coil; it does not sterilise. Any health concerns should be discussed with a qualified medical professional.

How long does a clean take?+
A typical villa takes a day. Larger homes and offices are scoped at the free assessment so you know before you book.
Do I have to leave the house?+
No. We work room by room. We'll agree the sequence on arrival.
What's the difference between Required and Recommended?+
Required is the duct and grille clean with photo evidence. Recommended adds the AC deep clean, drain flush and a before/after photo report and site notes so you can see the change.
Is UVC safe in a family home?+
Yes — UVC is installed inside the duct so light is fully contained in the airstream. It sanitises the moving air, not the room.
Do you work with property managers?+
